Welcome

Breath of God Lutheran Church is a young, multi-cultural, progressive Christian community in Southeast Baltimore. We see the Holy Spirit doing great things in these neighborhoods: working to bring love, justice, hope, transformation, and new life. Our hope, prayer, and goal are to be a key part of that holy work among our neighbors of all faiths and backgrounds. A worship service of Holy Communion takes place each Sunday at 10:30am.

Due to concerns related to the ongoing pandemic, many of our regular programs are limited, and many of our meetings and classes are taking place online. Sunday worship, at 10:30am, is a hybrid service. People are welcome to participate in person on via Zoom. Please visit the "Worship" page to learn more. All people inside the church building, for any reason, are required to be masked. All church and school staff are required to be vaccinated. Please do not enter the building if you are feeling sick, out of concern for the health of everyone in our community.

We welcome you to our website, and invite you to look around. If you have questions, comments, thoughts, or prayer requests, we would love to hear from you.

Serve

“Teacher, which commandment in the law is the greatest?” Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the greatest and first commandment. And a second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’” (Matthew 22:36-39)

Belong

Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God. Since God loved us so much, we also ought to love one another. (1 John 4:7, 11)

Grow

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; teach and admonish one another in all wisdom. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus. (Colossians 3:16-17)
